A simple web search will show there are dozens of churches in Portage.  Why so many?  Do they all teach the same thing?  Do they all do the same things?  Do they all go by the same standard?  Do they all follow the same person?  Where did all these churches come from?  If Christ were alive today, would he endorse all of them; most of them; some of them; a few of them; one of them; or none of them?

We believe there is too much religious confusion.  We believe there is one simple solution:  Simply follow Christ!  We are trying to do just that.  We simply open our Bibles and try to do what Christ wants us to do.  We don’t follow any man.  Christ is the one who died for us.  We don’t follow any creed book.  The Bible is the complete and final revelation from God.  We are not a part of any denomination. 

We call ourselves the church of Christ because we want to be His church.  We want to be owned by Him.  If you are interested in following only Christ and using only the Bible as the standard, please come by and visit.
